Spinning In Circles

And the world is indeed round. The starting point would always be as same as the end of the road. People who look forward would finally found anything they had left in the past. What people give, they get back. And the world is always like that, it is a reflection of our actions.

The world is beautiful by its perfect balance of good and evil. Sincerity and hypocrisy. Saints and sinners. Charity and greed. Love and hate. Joy and sorrow. Unification and separation. Forgiveness and revenge. Immortal and ephemeral. Submission and resistance. Hopefulness and desperation. Redemption and moral deterioration. Life and death. And the list goes on - which most people never care.

Beyond the world in which we live, there is peace and tranquility. It is a space physical beings cannot breach. It is the realm of the souls - of the living but not the dead. It is a lair of dreams - of which people would see themselves befriending their foes, lead an unthinkable happy life, blessed with consistently good fortune, heartwarming tales. Those dreams are called hope. The kind of hope everybody never tells others but Him.

Yours truly would like to wish everyone Selamat Menyambut Hari Raya Aidilfitri. I hope you all have been through a fruitful spiritual journey during Ramadhan 2010AD. I do not want to say that I have. But I do have my own hope - for you, for him, for her, for them, for people I will meet, and for everybody who is reading this.

  2. Sir,
Your observation on the balance of things is a perfect proof of what He states in Surah 36, ayat36 (see the perfect pair of 36 as well to prove His point) ...Glory to God, Who created in pairs all things the earth produces ... etc

In line with your 'hope' I do so for you and everyone. Selamat berpuasa dan selamat berhari Raya.

  4. Al-Manar,
Thank you for the enlightenment, Pak Cik. Never thought of coming across such an interesting trivia. I tended to absorb the meaning of the particular ayat from the surface, not knowing that it does not always refer to us humans and animals, but to everything including matters not perceived as a visible objects.

I think everyone does the same. Except each individual has his/her own way. I choose my own and finally someone named Pak Cik reveals what I have been 'hoping' secretly since the beginning of Ramadhan. I have just dropped a hint there. :)
